We capture the vast majority of our weddings using a one-Videographer approach.
Your Videographer will come with two cameras to set up. As long as the timeline allows enough time for one person to get to all the locations, set up, and capture the footage, one Videographer is great!
Generally, a second Videographer is necessary for logistically complicated events such as those with 200+ guests, a timeline that has items happening at the same time in different locations, or a ceremony that has multiple moving parts.
Here are some benefits of choosing two Videographers:
- More Coverage: With two Videographers, you can capture more angles, moments, and details simultaneously. This is especially valuable during key events where a single Videographer may not be able to be everywhere at once.
- Specialized Roles: Having two Videographers allows for specialization. For example, while one Videographer focuses on wrangling family members and capturing the main events, the other can concentrate on the details and candid moments. This division of labor means that both the big picture and the finer details are beautifully documented to a higher degree than a single Videographer alone.
- Simultaneous Events: If your wedding has overlapping activities in different locations, two Videographers can split up to cover more ground. This means no part of your event is missed, whether it's getting ready, guest arrivals, or other simultaneous happenings in different areas.
